digital photography & Photoshop
Dates:
23 & 24 March - 13 & 14 April FULL, with practical sessions. Day one covers digital photography, day two covers Photoshop.
The course is designed to enable you to get the best from your digital camera.
You will be taught the functions of the camera and the relationship between aperture, shutter speed, and ISO - sensitivity; how and why to adjust white balance, and how and why to use manual settings. You will be taking photographs on location with the tutor who gives advice.
You will learn to download pictures, create files and store pictures. In addition, you will practise basic digital manipulation skills applying editing and painting tools, correction techniques and filters, and adding text to a picture.
At the end of the course, all photographs taken will be evaluated through positive appraisal and constructive feedback.
One-to-one sessions are available throughout April, May and June.
