In 2002, Yoke Matze opened her school of photography in London, YM Photography Courses. She runs digital photography courses for beginners and trains people to a professional level. Yoke builds a safe and creative environment for students that provides opportunities to explore the visual world.

Students world-wide participate in the courses and workshops and undertake experimental work.

Yoke has been teaching for over 15 years and worked for 25 years as a practising photographer. She is specialised in portrait and architectural photography.

Yoke's photographic images can be found in the collections of Museum of London, Museum Gouda, Municipal Museum The Hague, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Prentenkabinet of the Universiteit Leiden, Archives of Kensington, Chelsea & Hammersmith, and Fulham, and in private collections.
